The First Steps

“Sometimes you don’t know when you’re taking the first step through a door until you’re already inside.” – Ann Voskamp

Do you know how excited people get when a baby takes their first steps? Well, I strongly believe that everyone should get that excited over every first thing.

In my mind, there is no difference between your first time coding and your first words. But for some reason, the second one tends to be celebrated way more.

It is the little silent wins that are not celebrated the most that usually means the most to us. Keep celebrating and winning for yourself. It’s the wins/challenges that no one sees that are the hardest to overcome.

Do not be afraid of taking the first steps on a new project, software, class, etc. You never know what opportunities will arise from it.  It’s in your hands to start, to take the first baby steps, and believe in yourself that you can, in fact, do it and do it well.
