I don’t know about you but I love summer, everything about it I love. The heat, the sun, the kids home from school playing outside.
It feeds my soul and makes me happy.
This past weekend felt like summer, the weather was stunning and I was thriving. The first day of summer, or at least summer weather is one of the best things out there.
Summer is what brings me back to my childhood. The pent of energy when you’re in class on the last day of school before summer is something I loved. If you aren’t entirely sure what I am talking about look up the first scene in High School Musical Two.
Even if you are a full-grown adult something about summer is a good throwback to being a kid, climbing trees, playing with chalk. Just the smell of the outdoors is magical after being stuck indoors for a while.
The sun on your skin, the wind in your hair, everything about it there is nothing better than it in my opinion. Enjoy it now before it’s gone, it’ll escape us before we know it just like the childhood that it reminds us of.
