Appreciate Your Health

Health is something that gets taken for granted on a daily basis. We breathe and think nothing of it, we walk like it is no big deal, we sleep soundly and peacefully. Even though these all may seem like normal things to do, they still should be appreciated.

Our health is so fragile, and with the past year that we have had, we were woken up to the fact that it is even more fragile than we expected.

It is so easy to get caught up in the grind, the hustle of life, and forget to be thankful for the simplest areas of our life. There are people with cystic fibrosis that would kill to be able to breathe, people that have been in an accident that would love to walk and run, people that cannot sleep.

Both mental and physical health is taken for granted far too regularly. It is a blessing to be able to live, to paint, to dance, to sing, to write, to breathe. Life is beautiful, but it can also be messy, but this does not mean that it should be thrown out.

Take a second to remind yourself.
