Depression Does Not Make You Weak

When you are depressed it can be super easy to think you are weak. You think you are weak because you can barely get out of your bed let alone live the life that people think you should.

I am here to remind you that depression takes up a tremendous amount of energy. You are so strong if you are suffering from depression.

Depression is not who you are.

Life takes a lot of effort whether you’re depressed or not but adding mental illness on top of life creates an even more draining life.

Help yourself and help others this suicide prevention month. Let people know that they aren’t alone, community is a massive and crucial step in getting out of a depressive episode.

Love yourself and those around you and remember depression doesn’t make you weak.
