Book Review: Connected

“I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library.” – Jorge Luis Borges

When I say this book changed my life I mean wholeheartedly and in the best way possible.

The knowledge and insight that is shared throughout this book has made me look at my communities as well as the communities of those around me in a completely different light.

I have learned how to spot those who are connected and can figure out where they are positioned in their network.

I have learned how crucial it is to have connections around you that are mutually beneficial. Where no one is tearing the other person down and growth is happening in all directions.

It can be so easy to get complaisant with our network. To think “oh it is good enough” or “this is the way it has always been” but if you are not satisfied if you are not growing them do what is best for you and those around you and get growing.

Find a new tribe, find a pack, find those that you can just vibe with, those that challenge your opinions and make you think twice.

We are all connected and your friends’, friends’, friends’ affect everything you think, hear, see, and do.
