Resolutions

“I made no resolutions for the New Year. The habit of making plans, of criticizing, sanctioning and molding my life, is too much of a daily event for me.” – Anaïs Nin

I personally love a good goal/resolution, as an enneagram three it is a part of me to my core.

One thing I find interesting about New Years Resolutions in particular is that the follow through on them is close to nonexistent. People want abs, they want a new house, a new job, etc. yet they do not know how to get from A to Z.

The process of setting realistic, small, actionable goals is how one gets to Z even though it looks a marathon away.

So, while you are creating your dream board, bucket list, and resolutions make them bold, big, and brave but do not forget that to get there you will need to take action.

Writing down a goal is only the first step on a long journey towards being able to check the box.
