So I used to live in this wonderful city in Colorado and I haven’t been back since I was twelve. This means that it has been almost seven years since I have been back here. It is tragic, truly.
A few weeks ago my two older brothers and I went in together and got a VRBO for my family as a Mother’s Day present. I got here a few days prior to be here for my birthday which was super fun. This house is actually in the same neighborhood as one of my closest friends.
This means I’m really comfortable here which is a win. I hate traveling places and being uncomfortable.
The house is super cute, the mountains are all around, the vibes are good. Actually no, the vibes are great. I haven’t taken a full week off of work in over a year and it feels fantastic to be here and be with family and friends.
The living room has a giant couch that fits my entire family and then some. The kitchen is beautiful and the other day we blasted music and made chocolate-covered strawberries in it.
Truly just wins all around without a doubt.
