“Growth and comfort do not coexist.” – Ginni Rometty
It’s crazy to think that month one of Praxis is over. It feels as if I was just starting yesterday. This past month has been a whirlwind in every aspect of my life and I’m thrilled that Praxis was a part of it. I’m grateful that I was given the opportunity to do this program. I’m provided the ability to grow and learn so much in a short amount of time.
My cohort has been given a few prompts to help us reflect on the past month. Some of the prompts are also helping to guide us into considering what we can do different this month to help us be as successful as possible throughout this program.
Reflecting on Module 1
What component of your work this month are you most proud of? How far my about me/elevator pitch video came from the first draft, as well as how I got more comfortable on camera and with video editing.
What was your biggest struggle this month? Killing the perfectionist/analysis paralysis mindset.
What’s one thing you can change to get more value out of your program experience? Asking more questions.
Planning for Module 2
What component of the upcoming module are you most excited about? Building a second brain into something that is powerful and actually useful.
What’s the biggest way you intend to challenge yourself/push yourself to go above and beyond? I plan on interviewing as many people as possible for each position, and getting my deliverables done and submitted early.
What’s the biggest way you hope to grow? I want to improve my communication skills both in-person and online.
