“Isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?” – L.M. Montgomery
Can you believe that January is already over? One-twelfth of the year is already gone, just like that, in the blink of an eye.
Have you stuck with your new year’s resolutions? Are you one month closer to the six-pack, do you finally have enough money saved up for that thing you wanted?
If you are not it is completely fine, in fact, it is normal. Research constructed by Strava found that most people give up on their resolutions by the second Friday. For 2020 it is the 10th, so if you made it longer than ten days sticking with your resolution you are doing better than most of the world.
Even if you did not make it longer than ten days that is perfectly fine as well. Life is a crazy thing and it’ll pile more stuff on you when you least expect it. I went into this year with zero resolutions, I am simply living my life with no expectations and trying to make it better than 2019.
It is such a simple yet difficult goal to achieve. I am committed to starting every day in the mindset that it will be better than the day before. Here is the thing, anyone can do this, at any point in time. There is no reason to wait an entire year to get in the gym or start journaling. So you miss a day or two do not let it get you down.
It is not too late to start moving your life in a positive direction, the time to get started is now.
