Apprenticeship: Week 1

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin

It is slightly crazy to think that it has only been a week since I made my way out to San Francisco and started working at Upgrow.

What I have learned:

  •  How to use
    • Last Pass
    • KWFinder
    • Basecamp
    • Webflow
    • Squarespace
    • and more…
  • How to disavow links
  • First-hand experience with backlinking
  • How to create an SEO Workbook
  • Google Date Studio/Search Console
  • How to put together a list of lead capture links

The whole working remote thing has been slightly difficult but it also not too bad. I unintentionally prepared myself with my history in homeschooling. In a way, this is actually easier than that because I now have people to ask questions to.

In other news, I have left the house three times in total. So, I have also learned the importance of getting outside. I also have a rib that I am pretty sure is popped out so laughing and breathing heavily is painful, also discovering the importance of a chiropractor.

In other other news, I only have one more week to make sure that I did not contract COVID-19 while I made my way here. So that is exciting, I think.

I am truly excited to see how much more I can l learn and grow within the next six months.
