How To Build A Habit

There are hundreds of different ways you can go about building a good habit but one of the best things that I have found is treating the habit you want to build as a necessity instead of an option.

If something is an option you can choose to do it or not, if something is a necessity you just have to do it.

I am sure there are plenty of things in your life that you wish were choices instead of necessities but habits are fun because you can chose them and them make them a necessity.

If you want abs but your brain is telling you “oh it is okay I don’t really need to work out.” then your abs are going to stay hidden. But if you get up and you know that you have to go workout, that it is not an option, then you do it.

The choice of making it a necessity or an option is yours and I am sure there are some habits that should be kept as an option instead of a necessity. But if there is something that you really want to happen, do not let it be a choice, build the habit and find your success.
