“Questions are never foolish. Stupider are those who never ask anything.” – Tamuna Tsertsvadze
In any field, you want to be the person that will answer the stupid questions without being mad at the person for asking the stupid questions
You want to be the go-to person for the newbie being trained, you want to be the person that knows there stuff and everyone knows that they know their stuff.
Not in a cocky way but in a confident way. Secure in who you are and your knowledge. Able to answer the stupid questions without making them feel stupid.
Because life is just a series of learning new things over and over and over again.
Stupid questions come and go but as soon as someone is bold enough to ask the stupid question there needs to be someone there to answer it.
So if you are confused have the gumption to ask the question and if you are being asked a stupid question have the grace to answer and explain without frustration.
On both sides of the coin, there is growth and happening. A win, win, win situation.
