“Forever is composed of nows.” – Emily Dickinson
There seems to be a rush in today’s world. Everyone wants instant gratification, instant knowledge, instant everyone, at the tips of our fingers.
We tend to forget that we can only move as fast as we can move. We’re so focused on the future, being ahead of the game, achieving our goals that we forget that time only has one speed. Your brain can only learn and retain information as fast as it can. Your fingers can only type as fast as they can.
As much as we may hate it sometimes, life has a speed.
You can’t speed it up or slow it down.
We are constantly in motion, the speed of things over history has definitely gotten faster, but the principles of there being a block that’s holding you back still is present regardless.
So, take a deep breath, relax your shoulders, and remember that you can only move as fast as you can move. Live in the now before it becomes the past.
