The swing feel, jazz, instrumental contemporaries, and more all bring a vibe straight from heaven. She possessed a soulful voice, wide range, and near-perfect elocution.
You can tell that she worked hard, but was also just genuinely blessed with a wonderful voice.
She got to sing with the greats and was a great herself. She forged her own path which makes her more than just a musical legend but an all-around legend. She inspired so many and continues to do so.
