A Very COVID Christmas

“I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.” – Charles Dickens

I am positive that I am not the only person that is having a slightly different Christmas experience this year compared to last year. At this point, nothing in the year feels real, and getting into the holiday spirit can feel close to impossible.

New traditions are being made, old traditions are being reworked or thrown out. There is reason to be upset but there is also reason to have joy and cheer.

I think it is important to remember, just because something is different certainly does not mean that it is bad. Enjoy the time and the people you have right now, because if we have learned anything from the rest of the year it is that everything you know can be gone in an instant.
