“Oh Christmas lights keep shining on.” – Coldplay
I would like to start up a petition to make it okay for all Christmas lights to stay up for as long as possible. Or, they can just never come down.
Christmas lights are so pure and so beautiful there is genuinely nothing wrong with them and they do a great job of making the early sunsets a bit more bearable.
It also is such a hassle to put them up and take them down, so why not just leave them up?
If someone can give a solid argument against Christmas lights then I might change my mind but as of now I am saying no judgement will be passed if I see some lights up in May.
