“We were watching a battle, but it took clean forms.” – Yasunari Kawabata
Last night my little sister and I were playing mastermind. Well it was more like I was loosing my mind while she was making fun of me.
Eventually, we switched sides and she was the one having to guess. We played one round, then the round after that she had a row or two left and decided that she was close enough to the answer and slammed the blocker down to reveal the answer.
Now, this certainly is one way of “winning” the game, but not entirely sure if it is the most ethical way of going about it.
I would also like to mention that while we were playing this, both of us had a box of cereal that we were eating out of. I know, classy as ever.
But despite the slamming win, or me being so sleep deprived that I almost cried because I couldn’t figure it out. I would not trade it for anything.
