“The steering wheel is turned by the driver, not the indicator, or the road sign.” – Mokokoma Mokhonoana
Today a little bit after I woke up the doorbell rang and I was very confused. Fully expecting it to be a package I didn’t bother to put on a shirt over my bra. News flash, it wasn’t a package. It was our sweet neighbor who accidentally ran into my car this morning. We exchanged information and did all the necessary things and then he was off.
Now, compare this situation to my time in Austin where I saw about five hit and runs. For one of them, I got their license plate number and gave it to the owner of the car, but for the others, they just sped off. When I say a hit and run, I mean they ran out of there.
Without a doubt, there are pros and cons to both places and situations. But this is definitely one of the few nice things about Kansas.
