Why Marketing Matters

Marketing is what a company visible. They are the ones that get the name out to the customers. It is almost impossible to put a real definition of marketing due to how broad the role is. One can specialize in internet, blog, social media, video, search engine, and more. At the core of marketing, there are a few traits that hold strong through them all. 

Connection

In marketing, you have the ability to connect to people and make their lives better with your product. You give people a solution to a problem that they didn’t even know they had. Through that connection and the person’s realization of a problem, you gain their trust and then they start to depend on you. 

The Doers

You have to do, marketing is one area where more than anything else you can plan all you want but if you don’t get up and physically accomplish something you aren’t doing your job. Because of this marketing is so invaluable to any company a good marketing team can lift a company out of the trenches. 

Eyes Are Everywhere

A marketing team see everything, they are trustworthy, observant, and curious to the extreme. This combination of characteristics is powerful and it gives a company a lot of strength and power as well. Marketing is more behind the scenes than some of the other roles, but because of that, they are often the heart of a company.
