“Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.” – Coren Kierkegaard
This past year I got a speeding ticket since I am a minor I had to go to traffic school. The gentleman teaching the class was quite funny, he had been teaching the same class twice a month for years. He was truly a veteran and knew what he was doing.
When first entering this class I was extremely anxious and had no idea what to expect. Once entering it I realized that this class was going to be way more beneficial than just sitting in a classroom watching a few videos and listening to a guy talk.
Here are a few of the lessons that I learned from the class:
- Honesty is always the best policy
- Say what you are doing
- Create good habits and you will have a good life
- Do not worry about things that you cannot control
- Safety first
Who would have thought that one simple traffic safety class would change the way that I thought about driving and honestly a bit about life as well? In the end, I am extremely thankful that I did get the ticket because I gained way more from it than I lost.
