Pick A Direction And Go There

“Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four hour days.” – Zig Ziglar

If you have a goal you must be transfixed on it. Fully committed and all of the other distractions simply just melt away. Where the mind goes, the life will follow.

If your heart is somewhere off in la-la land, your head is in the clouds and your spirit is stirring in confusion there is no way that you will be able to give one hundred percent to something. This world has more distractions to offer us than ever before, and we are living in at a time where we have to have an immeasurable amount of self-control to combat it.

You have to have a strong mind, you cannot have a wavering mind and you must listen to your gut. All of these things together will lead your life in the direction that you want it to go in. Whether you have a straight path or one with twists and turns and roundabouts as long as you go for it and commit and with it in every way possible, success will follow.

It’s how a little baby entry-level gets promoted before the guy that has been there for years. And how people find their person and get married within six months. They had their mindset on it, they worked for it, they were consistent and persisted through all of the trials.

This is how you build success in any area of your life. Not through some sappy self-help book, but through finding a goal and letting nothing get in your way from accomplishing it. If you want a car, make a plan for saving money and stick to it. Take the steps that you have responsibility for and run with it.
