“Content is fire, social media is gasoline.” – Jay Baer

Marketing is fun, it really is. There is always more to learn, always a new niche that can be explored and it is constantly changing and evolving. It has been so fun to see it firsthand has been almost an out of body experience to actually get to be living it.

Things I did this week…

  • Lost link outreach
  • Unlinked brand mentions outreach
  • Social media posts
  • Built audiences with apollo and transferred to LinkedIn
  • Attended a Zoom bible study

I feel like this week was the week I started to get into more of a routine. Especially with my morning routine, it has been difficult to get one down since my commute is nonexistent and when I do go to the office it will be a big part of my life.

On another note, I am in the teens with how many weeks I have left and that is truly crazy. Almost as crazy as this whole shelter in place and coronavirus situation is. I am extremely blessed that I have a job still and am able to work remotely. In a way, time is flying by, which is definitely a good thing considering the fact that we are all stuck inside.

My focus is still shifting a bit here and there but that is more or less just the life of an apprentice. It is one of the things that drew me to marketing in the first place. It is such a broad job title and there are so many niches in it. I am extremely lucky that I am getting to experience a handful of them.

  1. I really enjoy reading your blog! Is it better to comment this way or the ways I have been where you leave your email etc? I don’t want to embarras you in front of others. Seems like this way is better. I think a lot of people are having a hard time keeping a routine or even being motivated you are doing awesome! How are you part of a Bible study? Love you.
