You Are A Peacock

“Be like a peacock and dance with all of your beauty.”
– Debasish Mridha

What do you think of when you first think of a peacock? I’m assuming it has something to do with the beautiful feathers.

Have you ever noticed how much space they take up with those feathers though? If you’re like me you do not really care how much space they take up because they are so stunning.

You need to do the same thing. Despite how ordinary you may think you are. Be a peacock, take up space physically, vocally, energetically, in every way possible.

Stop biting your tongue, hiding in the corner, and repressing who you really are.

No matter how hard you try to disappear you cannot and will not, you take up space. So start acting like it. Refuse to stay small.

Do not worry about being too loud, too opinionated, or too weird. Refuse to shrink yourself to make others comfortable. Enough is enough, speak up.

You’re a peacock, now act like!
