Build A Bridge

“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.” – Ursula K. Le Guin

Building a bridge is an interesting way to think about your life.

You cannot build a bridge from the middle, the middle is your goal.

You have to start with the foundation, the sides, and slowly work your way to your goal.

It may take a while and look like nothing for a long time but in the end, if you keep going and do not give up the bridge will be finished and working.

You may give up prematurely and your bridge will either be useless or extremely unsteady and fall apart.

Sometimes even if the bridge is built extremely well it will still fall apart and that signifies your motivation for your goal dying out. There is almost always another goal/bridge that is put up in its place though so there may be a moment of panic but peace will be restored.

Sometimes it is necessary for a bridge to fall down, you may even want to blow it up, to build a stronger and better one in its place.
