“I think there’s just one kind of folks. Folks.” – Harper Lee
My older brother is currently in the process of planning for going to a four-year college after a few years at our local community college.
I was having a discussion with him and it went a bit like this:
Me: Okay so you need to find a remote job, what your housing situation will be, your transcripts from the community college, apply and figure out loans, figure out which pathway you want to take in college, etc.
Him: Yeah, I’ll figure it out eventually. I’ll get a random burst of motivation and get it all done.
If that does not show the stark difference between us then I am honestly not sure what could. There is nothing wrong with his way, there is nothing wrong with mine, They’re just very different.
We both get stuff done, we’re both more or less content with the way our lives are. The way we got here and the paths we are on are just extremely different.
No regardless of the way you think, plan, or even act on items as long as you are happy an feel fulfilled in what you are I’d say you’ve got nothing to worry about.
So, take a nice long breath and remember success is personal.
