If Your Stop At Your Goal It’s A Limit

“One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals.” —Michael Korda

The other day my family was talking and my mom decided to drop the bomb that is the title of this post.

Right away she looked at me as she realized what she had just said and said “Trademark that”. Well, mom, I’m not going to trademark it but hopefully, a blog post is good enough.

If you reach your goal and you stop growing, learning, improving, etc. then your goal has changed from a goal to a limit.

In an essentially limitless world, giving yourself limits  (whether you are aware of them or not) is one of the easiest and most common ways to self-sabotage.

Freedom is where growth happens. Find the courage to not place limits on yourself and progress will follow.

Check yourself, make sure your goals are in fact goals and not limits.
