National Mentoring Day

“Spoon feeding, in the long run, teaches us nothing but the shape of the spoon.” – E.M. Forster

Mentorship is humanity at its peak. It is humans helping humans with human needs.

It is giving without asking for something in return.

You might not think that you have a mentor but I can guarantee that you have someone you look up to. Whether it be a family member, public person, or even just a friend. You can have a mentor without calling them a mentor.

You can thank someone for being a light in the dark, teacher, guidance without calling them a mentor.

We all have mentors, and today is a day to realize who they are, and thank them.
