Now that it is the weekend it is the perfect time to take some time and refuel. Here are some things that you can do to refuel:
- Give yourself a hug
- Sing a song
- Tell someone you love them
- Sit in silence for five minutes
- Write down three reasons you are proud of yourself
- Remind yourself that you are safe
I often am under the false mindset that refueling takes time and energy, but in reality, it can take five seconds or five hours. It is up to you, and since it is for you, you are in control.
Do not neglect this crucial area of life.
