“Sitting there, in the coffee house, I saw so many stories behind the lips of people who had left them untold.” – Lidia Longorio
I am writing this from a cute old coffee shop in the cute old downtown that I talked about yesterday. It was $2 for a black coffee, there is country music playing, there is a dog walking around trying to get some spare pieces of bacon.
To say the least this is a vibe. Everyone knows everyone else, someone walks in and the barista gives them a hug, the chick eating breakfast shares her life story, the local artists have their art throughout the store.
As someone that rarely goes outside of the house when I am home this is a breath of fresh air. The environment that I am in right now is something that I have not felt in such a long time, and it is something that I did not realize that I was missing until this moment.
This place is where it’s at.
