Types Of Journaling

“Journal writing is a voyage to the interior.” – Christina Baldwin

There are a handful of different ways to journal and there is no right or wrong way to go about it. Here are three main areas of journaling that I like to partake in.

Organizational journaling, this type of journaling is what I take part in most often. It consists of to-do lists, daily planning, and mind mapping. All things that my logical brain loves.

Reflective journaling is my second most used journaling style. This type of journaling consists of brain dumps, gratitude journaling, end-of-day journaling, and dream journaling.

Creative journaling, I rarely ever do this kind of journaling. It tends to be more time-consuming and consists of more than a pen and paper. Creative journaling consists of photo journaling, vision boards, and art journaling.

No matter the type of journaling that you take part in journaling is important. It is such a good way to get your thoughts out of your head. This is your sign to start journaling. What type of journaling is your favorite?
