Celebrate How Far You’ve Come

“Every day is a good day. There is something to learn, care and celebrate.” – Amit Ray

It can be so easy to get ahead of your present moment and look for the next best thing. Although this can be good at times it often leads to dissatisfaction and not feeling like you’re good enough. If you’re always looking ahead then you never get the chance to feel the present moment. You also never get the chance to look back and see how far you’ve come.

It isn’t selfish to celebrate your own success or how far you’ve come. Often when you look back you realize you’ve come further than you think you have. These moments are extremely important, celebrate how far you’ve come and all the little wins you’ve had in between.

If you spend your entire life looking for the next best thing you’ll get burnt out and over-extend yourself. None of us are invincible and none of us can go through life alone or without faults. It’s crucial that we celebrate our wins, how far we’ve come, and the lessons learned from our losses.
