Self-Judgement To Self-Compassion

Self-judgement is a very big part of my day-to-day life. I find I’m the harshest on myself and it can take a toll on me whether I know it or not. Your thoughts matter and your thoughts lead your actions. Because of this try doing this, instead of thinking:

  • I’m such a mess
  • I can’t do this
  • I’m a failure
  • Why is this happening

Try thinking:

  • I’m human
  • I can do hard things
  • I’m learning
  • What is this teaching me

It’s important that you don’t lead into a toxic positivity mindset, but keeping it away form the negative. You’re growing, changing, and creating and it’s okay to mess up during this process.

Accepting yourself is just as important as accepting those around you.
