“The things that I loved were very frail. Very fragile. I didn’t know that. I thought they were indestructible. They weren’t.”
– Cormac McCarthy
There is something almost magical about someone that recognizes how frail they truly are.
If you think about it and look at some statistics, the odds of you dying from falling are 1 in 114. If you ask me, those odds are not very good.
Our lives are mere dust and can be blown away at any second. If you have the ability to recognize and embrace it, not fear it than you are going to have a pretty fantastic life ahead of you.
Some hear these facts and do not know what to do with them, they instantly go into a fearful mindset.
If you switch that to one that takes each day as a blessing and lives them to the absolute fullest them you are in for an adventure of a lifetime.
There is so much that you can do with your life, more than you could ever imagine. It is time to recognize your frailty and embrace it.
As of now we only have one life, depending on how fast technology improves or what beliefs you have that may be different, but overall you have one life so you better live it how you want to.
You only have one chance to live today, do not hold yourself back.
