Mother’s Day

“All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.”
– Abraham Lincoln

Today is a day for the mothers. I know that for some this is a really difficult holiday, whether they had trouble/can’t conceive, lost a child or dealt with something like that.

My heart goes out to everyone on this day. All mom’s/women do so much and deserve to be loved unconditionally.

This day is for all of you, no matter if you have a birth child, helped raise a child/siblings, or heck even if you don’t want kids. Call your mom, call the motherly figures in your life, your mom friends.

They all deserve a little bit of extra love today, including yourself.

We tend to forget that today includes some self love as well.

So, if you find yourself alone today or struggling due to the circumstances of the world take the time to do some self care. Do a face mask, take a shower, meditate, go on a walk. We often think that self love has to be a big act but 10-15 minutes is all you really need to reset.

Take a deep breath, remember you are loved, and live a wonderful day.
