Life’s Paths

“It is not too late to take another path.” – David Suzuki

It is so easy to compare yourself to others. To see others with a degree, with a relationship, with a job, with a child, with the thing you so desperately want.

Someone can graduate at 20 but wait 7 years to get a good job.

Someone can drop out of high school and be a millionaire by 21.

Someone can be married at 18, but divorced 2 years later.

Someone can be married at 40, but found everlasting love.

Someone can try to get pregnant for a month, only to realize that they were not prepared.

Someone can try to get pregnant for years, only to adopt and realize they were transforming the child’s life.

Your path is yours. Your life is yours.

You’re not late. You’re not early. You’re on time.

If you do not like the path you are on, you are the only person that has the power to change it.

Believe in yourself, take a deep breath, and take the next step.
