“Self-improvement begins by recognizing personal faults.” – Kilroy J. Oldster
Here is a challenge for you, check up on yourself as much as you check your social media.
We have these magic boxes in our hands that make it to easy to drown out our own thoughts, feelings, and sometimes even actions. It can be easy to post about it, but not deal with it.
Instead of checking on those around you, which will only make yourself feel worse, check up on yourself.
Give yourself a good evaluation, reflect on the past year what you have done well and what you wish you could have done. Do a mind, body, heart, and spirit check. Do not neglect one because you are thriving in anther., but strive to thrive in all.
Check up on yourself, because you are the only person that knows how you are truly doing and you are also the only person that will be able to truly change.
This reminds me of the aircraft safety message: If the oxygen masks fall, put on your own first before helping others. You have to check up on yourself first before you have something to offer those in need as well. Thanks for sharing!
