You Can Feel More Than One Emotion

When expressing how I feel I often find myself constricting myself to one emotion. I rarely express and share more than one emotion. Recently though I have been allowing myself to feel everything.

I allow myself to be hurting, healing, and happy all at once. I allow myself to be sad, angry, but hopeful. I allow myself to feel it all even if I can’t place what specific emotions I am feeling.

Giving myself this space has been extremely beneficial, I highly encourage you to do this same thing. You deserve it to yourself to give yourself that space, you can feel more than one emotion.

Have self compassion as you navigate all of the different emotions. Empower yourself, embrace the emotions, know they will pass and accept then for what they are.
