“If you are going through hell, keep going.” – Winston S. Churchill
In a world where it is so easy to give up or give in, I want to applaud those that persevered. This means I am applauding you because you have always persevered.
If you think about your life you may think about the failures, about the mistakes, and the wrong turns you made. Yes, these all happened and these happen to all of us, but what if you thought about all of the times you persevered.
It doesn’t have to be one big thing, it can as small as committing to plans you made when you really did not want to commit. We need to stop putting ourselves into boxes that we cannot fit into, including what we define as perseverance.
There can be times where you just want to throw in the towel but you don’t, these moments are worth celebrating. The moments where you are barely hanging on, your patience, energy, and strength are all depleting but you continue going.
Don’t let these moments slip away going unnoticed, hold them close to you, and appreciate yourself and the inner strength that it took to preserve.
