“Each night, when I go to sleep, I die. And the next morning, when I wake up, I am reborn.” – Mahatma Gandhi
With so much happening in the world, it can be easy to put sleep on the sidelines or at the bottom of our list of to-dos, but we need to stop doing this. So much happens while we sleep and it is crucial that we allow our bodies and brains to get the rest they need.
Sleep is when you are able to store all of your experiences, it is when your mind and body are able to recover, it is one of the most important areas of your life. This is why you should spend about a third of your life doing it.
When you sleep you are healing, allow yourself to heal so you can accomplish everything else that you need to do.
Allow yourself to sleep, it does not need to be a reward or only occurring after an accomplishment. It needs to be a regular part of your routine to live a healthy life.
So, sleep.
