“And there are really never endings, happy or otherwise.” – Erin Morgenstern
Today is an interesting day, today is the last day that I will be at Upgrow. I started here when I was seventeen, with no professional experience and some big dreams. It is truly such a bittersweet moment to be moving onto my next opportunity.
What happens when something is over? Do you take time to celebrate the past, do you agonize over the mistakes you made, do you look to the future with hope?
This is the close of this chapter and the next one is approaching and I am so excited to see where it takes me. Ending things has such a negative connotation yet it should be exciting, it means something new is on the horizon and I am blessed to be in that position exactly.
Starting, ending, coming, going, it is all a part of life. It tosses you around like the wind, you have highs and lows like the tide. Feel what you want to feel and do what you want to do, it isn’t over until it’s over, but when it’s over you have to move on. Smile at the past, thank it for what it gave you, and head to the present and the now where you are going to thrive.
