“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.” – Mahatma Gandhi
Getting in the habit of protecting your peace is something I struggle with. But it’s also extremely important and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Here are a handful of things you can do this week, often easier said than done, to protect your peace:
- Connect with people you love
- Talk kindly to your mind and body
- Scroll less
- Drink more water
- Move your body
- Journal or list out your thoughts
- Focus on yourself
- Take up space
There are times in this world where you have to be selfish and protect your peace. Life isn’t a walk in the park and even if it is the roses still have thorns. Do what you need to do for you, and protect your peace.
