Wisdom Teeth Removal

“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.” – William Shakespeare

On the 14th I got my wisdom teeth removed. This is something I’ve been putting off for a while but finally followed through after I had a very painful experience with one of them coming in a few weeks ago. To say the least, I almost used a box cutter to yank it out myself.

Nevertheless, I did not go about it that way and went about it a more humane way. Despite not being fully under and just getting local anesthetics it was a rather easy process.

The actual numbing took longer than the pulling of the teeth. It was strange to see the blood being sucked up while I felt close to nothing. The best way I’d be able to describe it is like when you get a piercing and you feel a lot of pressure right before the needle actually goes through. Meaning, there was no real pain just pressure.

Honestly, I’ve very happy with my decision to not go fully under. It was nice to be able to get up and walk around perfectly normally and be in charge of what I was doing. If you can’t tell I’m big about being in control.

This resulted in a lot of sleeping and very little eating, sorry mom, but all in all I’m doing well. Just have a little bit less wisdom.
