Foods To Eat After Getting Your Wisdom Teeth Out

“Turn your wounds into wisdom.” – Oprah Winfrey

I got my wisdom teeth out recently as I really struggled with eating enough throughout the healing process. As someone that just struggles in their day-to-day to eat enough, I’m sure you can imagine how difficult it was to have four holes in my mouth and do so.

In the beginning of the healing process avocados, smoothies, and soup were the best options I could have. I also tried to get ice cream that had some healthier benefits so I could eat them more or less as a meal instead of as a snack. Not the best option, but sustenance regardless.

After a bit into the healing tortillas, melted frozen blueberries, and bananas have all been lovely. I’ve also had a good amount of protein and collagen powder mixed into random drinks. Whether it be a chai, vitamin water, or oat milk.

Wisdom teeth removal isn’t as scary as it sounds, if you need to get yours done just do it. I will admit the lack of straws, gum, and coffee has been rather annoying. I’m happy my healing and everything has gone as smooth as possible.

I might not have my wisdom anymore but as least I’m not in pain.
